Pathway 2

Pathway 2 exam candidates must graduate from an academic program in human lactation and breastfeeding that includes 90 hours of lactation-specific education and clinical hours as part of the program curriculum. Graduation from such program must have occurred within the 5 years immediately preceding your application for the exam. Additional information on these programs can be found in the IBLCE's Candidate Information Guide. There are only a few colleges in the country that provide this education. If going back to college is not for you, try using Pathway 3.
